INSURANCE COVERAGES PURCHASED ON THIRD PARTY WEBSITES ARE NOT ACCEPTED IN CURACAO. Liability is mandatory at a cost of $10.00 to 15.00 per day with a deductible of $500.00 reducing renters financial responsibility for the third party. A full coverage is optional for additional $5 to $7 (customer is responsible for any damage or repairs of the vehicle rented)Theft protection is optional at a cost of $3.00 per day for all cars. PAI(Personal Accident Insurance)is available at a cost of $3.00 per day for all cars.

• Rules and restrictions

• The following rules and restrictions are provided by the car rental company.
  
  
• The driver must present a valid driver’s license and credit card in their name upon pick-up. The credit card is required as a deposit when renting any vehicle. The deposit amount is held by the car rental company. Please ensure sufficient funds are available on the card.
  
  
• International rentals may have different driver license requirements. An international driving license is required if the drivers’ license is non-roman alphabet.
  
  
• Additional charges or restrictions may apply for drivers under 25 or over 70.
  
  
• Charges for refueling, additional drivers, etc. are not included in the total price.
  
  
• Special equipment, such as child seats and GPS, can be purchased upon pick-up (if available).
  
  
• Geographical restrictions may apply, even for rental contracts that feature unlimited mileage. Some car rental companies do not allow you to take their vehicles across certain domestic or international borders, or may apply an additional charge to do so.
  
  
• Your rental may have mandatory, local insurance requirements that result in additional charges at the time of rental.
  
  
• The total price includes all mandatory taxes and fees.
  
  
• Rental fees are due at pick-up.
  
  
• Unless and otherwise specified, rates are quoted in US dollars.
  
  

• Return refueling

• Vehicles rented with a full tank of fuel must be returned full to avoid a locally determined refueling charge.
  
  

• Driver’s license

• A valid drivers license in the customers own name must be presented at the time of pick up. Minimum age is 23 or older and have held a license for a minimum of 2 years; Max age to rent is 75YRS. Renters under 25 may be subject to an additional fee.
  
  

• Insurance

• Special rates

• Additional drivers must qualify with a valid driver’s license in their own name. There may be charges for additional drivers.

• Forms of payment

• Debit cards are accepted. A hold will be placed on renters Credit/Debit card for the amount of $500.00, at the time of pick up.
